About Love of Cross Ministry

Our Story

Love of Cross Ministry was founded with a simple mission: to create a welcoming spiritual home for people in our community. What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational ministry serving families across our region.

Throughout our history, we've remained committed to our founding principles of grace, community, and service. We believe that church should be a place where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their background, beliefs, or life circumstances.

What We Believe

At Love of Cross Ministry, we hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' Creed. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead. Through faith in Him, we receive forgiveness and eternal life.

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, our final authority for faith and life. We're committed to teaching the Scriptures with clarity and relevance for today's world.

Distribution of free food for the needy, ensuring no one goes hungry in our communities.

Our Identity in Christ

As followers of Jesus, we believe that our primary identity is found in Christ. The Bible teaches that when we put our faith in Jesus, we become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17) and are adopted into God's family as beloved children.

This new identity comes with both privileges and responsibilities. We have been given spiritual authority to represent Christ in the world and to advance His kingdom through love, service, and proclamation of the gospel.

Spiritual Authority

Jesus declared to His disciples, "I have given you authority... over all the power of the enemy" (Luke 10:19). As believers, we operate under Christ's authority to:

  • Under submission: To God's Word and to one another in the body of Christ
  • For God's glory: Always pointing people to Jesus, not to ourselves
